1911 1d Pale Carmine Downey Head Watermark Crown, Die 1B showing wear to cross on crown with just the minutest piece of frame showing. Block of 4 from a booklet pane with watermark inverted. Comes complete with a 2008 RPS certificate stating 'wear to cross on crown'. Superb unmounted mint example of this scarce variety which is cat at £700 with a full no cross on crown.
